I got ALOT of tips on this one...lol..been there done that:))

first...sleep on your left side. takes a bit of getting use to but you'll find it helps..both you and baby

second...find your self a body pillow or just a regular one and prop it ..sounds gross..between your legs. this relieves pressure on you lower back..OR under you baby bump this also relieves the back pressure.

third... if you are too hot try freezing a 2 liter bottle..half way full.. and place that at the foot of your bed under the sheets..this will cool your feet and help your body cool down.

as for you loved one..ask them to stay on their side..no need to kick them out they will be there forever!! ...lol and you'll get use to them not being there
good luck

Do some light exercises during the day, be sure to drink plenty of water, and do extensive stretching right before bed. Keep it up for a few days without fail, you will start to feel a difference. It helps you sleep easier, and sounder.

Sleeplessness and pregnancy go hand in hand.

You can actually take half a tab of REGULAR unisom, but double check with your doctor for your particular situation.

I'm also 30 weeks and I'm in the same boat. Honestly we don't sleep together now. Thankfully I'm not that big so I fall asleep comfortably on the couch and wake up at 3am when it's time for him to go to work. Then I go get in the bed. But when we have our days off and we sleep together, I have to have my back to him and have a pillow in between us. I need support on my back and spooning would help, but I'd get too hot.

I moved to my couch!! My partner started snoring really loudly when i was pregnant!! Now i find it hard to leave it.
Then when i did more back, he moved around too much. You need your sleep!! I can tell you i have slept in some strange places, including the bath tube. Try and find somewhere were you are comfortable!
Best Wishes on the baby, hope it goes well & you get some sleep!

Asking your partner to sleep on the sofa or a different bed, and try putting lavender on your pillow to relax you. Take a warm drink before you go to bed, but with no caffiene, and try not to eat or excersise after 7 .

I use a body pillow. Helps me get more comfortable, but that's a relative thing right now. I'm 30 weeks tomorrow.

If this is your first...sorry...the sleep discomfort just gets worse as you get closer to your due date.
