I prefer at night. I always shower in the mornings, so I feel all gross when I wake up.
However, I think its probably safer to have sex in the mornings before your first urination. Sounds weird, but sex pushes a lot of bacteria into the urethra and can cause infection. The best way to prevent that is to urinate immediately after sex and the most potent urine is the first one of the morning.
