I didn't vote for Bush, but it could be worse. I could live in Venezuala, Iran, North Korea or Russia, among others. I am pretty happy with Bush compared to the leaders of lots of other countries.

Apparently so knuckleheads like you, with the advantage of hindsight, can sit back and act as if they "knew better" all along.
As I asked in a recent question: why does it never occur to anyone that President Bush would be the greatest hero that ever lived right now had we actually found a nuke in Iraq? People are so short-sighted while they sit back & play Monday morning quarterback. Imagine (if you can) that everything happened EXACTLY as it did. Desert Storm took place, Sadam survived & over the next decade, rebuilt his forces, befriended terrorists, gave the world every reason to think he was probably playing with nukes–including blatantly ignoring UN resolutions & blocking inspections. Bush speaks out & finally decides, WITH the support of congress and the American people, to do what the UN was SUPPOSED to do–invade. That's all history. Now what if one thing were different– we actually found a nuke? President Bush would have done nothing differently from what he did yet would be a hero.
I am not a fan of the president. I do not blindly follow him into fire but I also refuse to blindly follow the Bush-bashing crowd who cling to their mantras and seem incapable of seeing anything in context.

Actually, Bush lost the first election, but was given presidency in court. He barely won the second time. This was due to fear from 9/11. Fear often makes people think irrationally. If 9/11 never happened, Bush would have not been elected in 2004 and the war in Iraq would have ended already The US would have not been looked to as we are now. I am sure the image of the US will slowly improve after he leaves office, not matter who wins. Personally I hope it Is Hillary Clinton as she plans on giving Bill Clinton the task of repairing the US image around the world. I know of no one who could do a better job at that.

Well the reason he is the laughing stock is because the left decided that their own quest for power was more important than the nations interests and have set out to undermine him and poke fun at him at every turn. Factually he did better in college than Al Gore and John Kerry so if he is an idiot so are they- ok bad example, they are idiots.
He has sought to spread freedom to tens of millions while the previous president appeased terrorists for 8 yrs. Arafat was the #1 whitehouse guest during his tenure, Korea was given nuclear technology (they were so sweet and promised to place nice- right), China- we wont even get into that, Osama- dont give me a headache on this one. The guy left a world in chaos and unfortunately someone had to do the clean up. Other countries didnt like us going to Iraq- France, Germany, Russia because of the billions they were making there- no other reason. Running around the world kissing butt may keep people smiling but when you turn away they are giving you the bird- wake up to reality- I know it sucks but pretending to live in never never land wont make reality go away.

a number of you, in reality a lot of you're so busy comparing 0bama with Bush which you're lacking the authentic factor. 0bama is the present chief of the unfastened worldwide. the authentic question could be, is 0bama as much as the activity? And so a techniques 0bama has shown that he's not any longer in basic terms no longer able to being the chief of the unfastened worldwide, yet he's working very no longer project-free at making usa the guffawing inventory of the worldwide! in reality its getting very, very no longer project-free to have confidence that 0bama is a unswerving American. So ignore Bush, he's no longer our president, yet then many are initiating to think of that neither is 0bama!

If there were a "world order" I'm guessing George would be telling you what to do. We voted for Bush because we've seen how you've screwed up your own country and we don't want to do that too. Laugh all you want, we're still number 1. Come talk to me when you surpass us.

Even though he was losing popularity by 2004 he still won because the war in Iraq wasn't going as bad as it is now and Kerry didn't do a good job convincing the American people. I'm pretty sure that if Bush were eligible for re-election next year he would lose in a landslide!

Look at our other options. Gore or Kerry?
The world would have died laughing.
Bush is a great President and a great world leader. If you look at the results of the elections in Germany and France recently I think you will see that the world has actually moved to become closer with the US, so your entire point is off base.

Who's laughing? I haven't seen anyone who is sending their people after us laughing. They are only dying. Is OBL laughing? He's hiding in a cave. Is the Taliban laughing? When they aren't dying for Allah, they are picking lice out of each others beards. Is Saddam laughing? The President of Iran just made several appearances and made a couple of speeches, I haven't seen him laughing. If you think this war is funny, you have been huffing way too much spray paint.
