This is a good question. I've found that as I get older, older women look better. When I was 18 I was turned off by women who were older than me...maybe it was their style or whatever. Now that I'm 27, I'm finding that even though the 18 year olds are still hot in their own little way, I'm finding 30 year olds and above a lot more attractive, but in a more mature fashion. I'm guessing this is going to hold true as I keep getting older. At the stage I'm at now and the women that are around me, I would have to say that 30-35 is where most women (especially single) take the best care of themselves, and this goes for looks as well as health. (Maybe their last stand?)

A fit, trim woman will generally turn my head, but what matters the most is her inner beauty. This transcends time and age, and part of the reason why I married a woman 6 1/2 years my senior. Her best-looking days are clearly well behind her, even if she didn't turn 40 this year, but it is her inner beauty and charm that continues to keep me wrapped around her finger.

Depends on your definition of "best".
Women, physically are fittest likely in their 20s up to their 30s then they really start to change and age after that, and be equally stunning in their more mature phase, if they try and still care about appearances. In fact 40-60, I think women can be the sexiest they have ever been, and same for men for that matter. I have always though men never really became men untill thier 40s and beyond! ;~)
It's all mind over matter. Sexiness is a stage of mind and if you exude a love and zest for life, it will eminate from you, and that has more to do with how you feel about yourself and therefore how you love yourself and treat yourself and this is really what you project to the world and what they see about you.
It's sad that men (and women) don't recognize the toll that being a MOTHER takes on a woman's body. Children really do a number on most women and life and stress really are what suck the life out of you and I think finances and how you manage it all take a huge toll. Women often sacrifice themselves for their families and it's really sad to hear the hurtful things men say, and other women too who obviously know nothing of what they speak of but they will be there one day too.
So long as you don't let yourself go to total pot, which is really sad...people have failed you if you've let yourself go to that extent, I think women who keep their head come out of it all unscathed and honestly sometimes I'm surprised when younger fellas turn thier head. I got a real eye opener when I went away with a bunch of teachers a few years back...seems I'm not as "old" as I thought I was and hey, I still got it....not that it's up for grabs to anyone...but nice to know it's still there! LOL
