Strictly speaking, no. An egg is basically an incubated embryo, and no I wouldn't consider it a meat as it doesn't contain the flesh that it would ordinarily develop during its fertilization cycle.

Of course if you're a vegetarian who is against animal slaughter, then you're not really taking the life of an animal away, as the egg technically has as much life as the unfertilized eggs of a woman (human or not).

I ThInK I know where you're going with this one !?!... "Nope`'!! Not yet !! ?lol? See the egg has to hatch & then depending on where the egg comes from.. M I G H T be good for food to other speceies!?!. Further more... Oh wait now if it might be an egg from something like a MAMMAL It's likely that the meat from mammal would contain a high level of protein

They aren't quite meat, since the chicken eggs humans eat are not from pregnant chickens (there's no little baby chicken in the egg!), but the egg would contain most of the same things the chicken does...I mean the antibiotics, pesticides, etc. (yuck)

"eggs are not actually baby chickens"

Yea they are if they contain the growing fetus of the chicken.

Eggs are not really considered meat, but they contain protein which is found in meat.

ofcourse!!an egg is the embryo stage of a bird. when u eat an egg its like eating a bird whom god had wished to be born but u didnt let it(by consuming it offcouse). its as if abotion of an unborn baby is equivalent to the killing of a helpless human.
