My OB/GYN booked me for a 4D scan this Saturday, I just want to know what is it whats the difference between it and the normal one. Im 33 weeks pregnant with my first..its a girl

a 4D scan gives a real time look at the baby. Think 3D when you see documentary's of babies inutero and add the 4th dimension, time. Rather than seeing a grainy black/white one sided image of the baby's body you will see a fully dimensional version. Face, body everything. Its sort of browny orange in colour but its like really looking at your baby.

well normal scans are black and white and mostly fazzy. 4d scans are much better you can even see your babies face clearly :)

Imagine if your body was transparent. you would see the size and shape of your external body, but you would also see the inner organs and systems of the body at the same time.
