True, their opponents have only 3 wins combined. But it's just the Steelers. New England's opponents only have 2 wins combined. Dallas' opponents have 2 wins. Only Indianapolis' opponents are better with 4 wins.

None of the undefeated teams have really been challenged yet, except for Dallas who has let it's weak opponents put up a lot of points on them.

Teams have no control over their schedules. All teams can do is prepare for their opponents and then play the best game they possibly can. The same people who say that the Steelers haven't played anybody, are the ones that say the NFL is getting close to parity in the league. Just grin and bear it and shrug off the naysayers, knowing they probably wish their teams were 3-0!

Although New England's competition has only 3 wins combined, the Jets and Chargers are better than the Browns and Niners. The Jets had to open with the Pats and then on the road at Baltimore, it doesn't surprise me that they are 1-2 they will be at 500 this weekend and probably finish 9-7 or maybe 10-6. San Diego beat the bears, the only team that dallas can argue is good that they have played but then went down a bit. Part of it is due to the fact that they had to play at New England on a Sunday Night and then travel again to Green Bay. New England is physical, they beat up on the Chargers and the Chargers had a tough couple weeks but I think they will pull it together and be a playoff team. The Steelers haven't played anyone yet, but they have looked good unlike the Broncos who eaked by the two worst teams in the league, the steelers were winning convincingly. The steelers are a playoff team this year, I like them to win their division and make it through the Wild Card weekend. Then their season ends traveling to Indy or Foxboro, but all things considered they are better this year by a mile than they were last year.

It's early, and results are often "Topsy Turvey" the first few weeks quite often.

Their opponents have not been the best. Perhaps better teams will expose their flaws so they come down to reality.

They have done the city proud over the years...and no one can take these wins away!

Just don't expect them to be strong as New England. Cheating notwithstanding.

The 3rd win was against an over-rated opponent, and the first 2 foes were even worse.

Cleveland quarterback Charlie Frye was so bad during the Steelers' 34-7 victory on opening day that he was traded a couple of days later.

Despite San Francisco's tight victories over Arizona (20-17) and St. Louis (17-16), there were visible worries about their lack of productivity, even prior to Pitt win.

Wide receiver Vernon Davis had only four catches for 27 yards. He was causing disunity too, and went to Nolan and asked why he wasn't getting the ball.

Good luck to the Steelers from here on out. It will get tougher!!!

This is what guys say to feel better because they root for a crappy team that can't win, and choked on a few to many sour grapes.
If you hate the Steelers so much, why not jump over to our side and see how the leaves get raked? You might just like rooting for a winner.
Or..you can keep complaining about our oh-so soft schedules year after year..as the sole reason in life that we keep winning.

GO STEELERS!!!!

I love when people say that certain teams haven't played anyone yet. Look back at last year, the Indianapolis Colts were able to beat teams like New England and Cincinatti, yet lost to teams like Houston and Tennessee. Did they win the Super Bowl?? They sure did. Judging a team by it's schedule means nothing to me. Being the "best" team is not just about who you play, it is about being able to play your hardest even when you feel the competition is beneath you. It is easy to get pumped up when you are playing one of the elite teams, but staying motivated when you play a bottom feeder is the toughest job out there.

Just like any sport, every team will play good teams and bad teams. At the end of the season it is all about making it to the playoffs and then proving yourself once you get there.

Because they're haters!
And they can't stand the fact that the Steelers have FIVE SB trophies.

I agree though, it's mighty funny how none of the other undefeated teams don't get hated on like the Steelers.

What they mean by that is they need to play a team that will test them, to see how they rank against the other teams in the AFC. Thats all that is, no one is really knocking, they're just waiting for a big matchup to see if they're for real. & it's cool, we know the truth, they're solid.

Go Pitt!!
