Hmmm, well honestly, I see it a bit differently. I think she's responsible because she knows what she wants and didn't waste time making that decision. I know it may have been a bit cold, but I wouldn't exactly call it immature. Had she been immature she would have stringed you along or drawn it out. Instead, she made a quick cut. And by the way, her being a kindergarten teacher has nothing to do with that.

I know what you mean! It seems like it would be sooooo easy to just kick back and let others be responsible sometimes... you know, call in to work just 'cause it's a pretty day... or maybe you need a few hours for extra sleep or errands, but noooooooo.... you go to work instead because that's the right and responsible thing to do... I sooooo hear you!
