When Pakistan lost the 20Cricket Cup to India yesterday, its Captain Shoab Malik said: "I apologise to all Muslims in the world".

What does this imply ? That the rest of the world is anti-muslim? Who is at fault here? Shoaib or his understanding or his grooming?

I presume he regarded India, like many do, as the bastion of the Hindu religion, and he was apologising for letting down Islam by loosing to Hinduism.

He is apologising to his fans that is mostly Muslim of the world for letting us down.It is just like representing a country, promised to bring back the cup or gold medals instead he lost the cup.I already prepared the ice-cream but no cup,now I have to use the Bucket. It will look good for me to use that gold colour cup and later video it and sent it to youtube for my friends to see but since we have no victory cup.I cannot video me eating from an ice-cream bucket, where is the glory, the thrill?

Ok, so he lost a match and he out of no where says "I apologize to all the Muslims in the world"? That doesn't even make sense. Are you sure you have the whole interview or quote? You probably have this out of context.

He appears to believe that the world is divided into "Muslims" and "the rest". Very sad.

I don't think Irfan Pathan or Yusuf in the Indian team (and Indian Muslims) would be too happy that.

You are at fault, you didn't understand his statement. You're trying to make a big deal out of nothing, relax, make a cup of coffee or something, it'll pass.

Anti-Muslim is misunderstanding here!

Don't you think the world is already divided in Muslim and non-Muslim?
