is it just me or is that a long time trying to outsmart a fish

lol that is quite a long time spent trying to outsmart a fish
perosnally after 2 hrs i would go buy a fish and just tell people i caught it

Some people fish just to be in the outdoors. I know a guy who goes fishing but hates to eat fish. He will give away anything he catches.

The object of the exercise is to sit still doing very little. If a fish comes along, that's a bonus.

no i know lots of anglers who fish for longer than that i for instance went fishing in canada on a 2 week holiday and still caught no salmon that i went for got a few trout though

I went fishing with my brother, a ken fisherman. It was quite cold and while my brother caught fish I had no luck. I asked my brother his secret and taking a maggot from his mouth he replied "you have to keep your bait warm "
