which brand of the 1911 do you like?

kimber is one of the finest guns in the world, you can pay more but you can't get a better gun. I've shot them my whole life but I finally bought my first today pro raptor 2 from their custom shop I paid 750 they retail for around 1000, i think i'll sleep with it tonight.:) I bought the taurus pt1911 the sights are fixed and mine shot a foot low at 10 yds then it broke sending it back (for what it's worth)

There is only one 1911, the Colt. It is a shame Colt isn't producing much of anything for the consumer anymore. All they seem to be doing is providing for the military, here and in other nations.

i believe you cannot go wrong with kimber they incorporate alot of "custom features" that if you bought a stock gun and had them added would be very expensive i carry one everyday and have never had a problem although i do only use wilson magazines for any 1911 i shoot hope this helps check out the kimbers i think youll like them

I have always liked the Colt. I've owned Spanish n Argentinian made clones and they were okay but I've always preferred the Colt. I've recently acquired a Colt Commander lightweight in .38 Super.
