If you're stateside, you'll need to contact the jurisdiction where you want to get married. Most counties have their wedding license requirements on line. Obviously, you will need a license and some states require blood tests, etc.; also many places require a copy of a divorce decree if it's occurred within a couple year period.

Congrats & good luck.

Passport or Birth certificate. You will need to know your SSN too. Have cash in pocket to pay for the license.

My husband and I eloped to Las Vegas in 2000. It was wonderful. The entire trip cost $1000. If in the USA, the link below is a good starting reference to state requirements and has phone numbers to call to clarify.

Generally passport and birth certificate. If you've been married before I think you need proof of divorce/ being widowed. If you go to a travel agent they will be able to give you more detailed information (get some wedding brochures - they list exactly what is needed). Every country is different (that is, if you're planning to go abroad. lol). Good luck x

each state has laws...just a little UN-asked for note... get about as real with yourself as you ever have , and ask yourself, is this the way you dreamed when you thought of your wedding when you dressed up as a little girl? will this deeply hurt those around you that have loved you since you came into this world? has this been a thought you have had for at least 6months? besides Mr.nice that one other person (other than net) that you shared this with, said "you cant do that....."?you sound scared , and need to jump fast, please do yourself a favor and Mr.nice, slow down and ask why...

you need to book where you are going to get married - that normally helps and then they will let you know what you need to take.
