It now seems that the nanny was working on the complex when the Mc's were there.

Dave...... thanks, my mistake, I thought it was THE nanny. More spin by the McCanns . They are all liars together but if the "death" scent on their clothes possibly being analysed by FSS makes the police name them as arguidos (eventually) then they will have the right to remain silent and answer even less questions

Actually its A nanny rather than THE nanny ;)
This story which has also been regurgitated in the Mail though leaves a couple of questions.
1) Why has she co-incidentally come out of the woodwork just now, just when the PR machine of the McCanns is kicking into full flow.
2) She claims Murat was definitely there that night. Yet she was NOT one of the people brought back to Portugal to quiz Robert Murat like the McCann friends were. Why is that the case? Did she not tell the police she saw Murat that night?
3) Why are the Tapas 9 hiding behind the 'cant comment because of Portugese secrecy laws', yet this 'witness' is allowed to talk to all and sundry about this case in national Newspapers. Clearly this shows that any of the McCann friends CAN speak about what they saw on that night, they are just electing to hide behind this pact of silence.
Why is that??

This girl is not the McCann's Nanny she is one of the Mark Warner staff who worked in the creche. Their Nanny did not go on the holiday because she had some family problems I believe over in Canada.
This makes interesting reading and I note the source was the Daily Mail , I wonder how much she got paid for her story. And to be honest reading it doesn't sit well with the other evidence that has been "leaked" so far. Particularly the description of Kate McCann as she was said to have raced to the Tapas bar to raise the alarm.
This story yet again would not be allowed in the UK if the case was actually here as it could prejudice the case.

As Dave S says, why are these angles only coming out now. There is this nanny who says that Kate McCann was inconsolable but she never thought to say this back in May. And all of a sudden Gerry McCann suddenly thinks there was an intruder in the apartment when he put the children to bed.
Its all just a bit suspicious that these stories are just being told just now.

I have to laugh when people say because of their "Mistake " the McCanns will have to live with the Guilt for the rest of their lives.
They forget to mention as well as £100,000,000 celebrity status and the money they will make through selling their story, the book, the film rights and of course all the millionaire friends they've made.
Not bad for a nights work guilty or not.

She is any eye witness to what was said and how the McCanns were on thta night.. She wasn't the McCanns Nanny. It does say in the article that she worked for Mark Warner the holiday company:
The 20-year-old Briton, who tended children for the Mark Warner holiday complex in Praia da Luz, firmly believes the McCanns are innocent. Speaking publicly for the first time yesterday, she described Mrs McCann in the aftermath as "a broken woman" who was shuddering and unable to move.

Little weed, be careful what you say about the Mc's, the nasty pro Mc's will get you violations. It is unbelievable that I have had a few today from them. You are best to go to the Mirror forums and you can ask as many questions there without having violations. Dave s is on there too.

I would take everything this money grabber is saying with a pince of salt.
Why were the family calling 'Maddy' when searching for her when they spoke out about a week after she dissapeared asking her not to be reffered to as Maddy as she was never called this at home and wouldn't respond to it.
