He is normally fed 3 small meals a day and is due to be fed at 9.30am. His appointment is 11am. I have tried calling the vets to ask them but the phone is constantly engaged. Any ideas on what to do for the best? Cheers.

It will be fine to feed him as normal. Animals will occasionally vomit because of a reaction to the vaccine but this is very rare- certainly no need to withhold food :o) He may be a little quieter than normal after vaccination and/or may temporarily get a little lump where the needle's given, but these tend to be the worst reactions we see.

it is up to you missing a meal won't hurt him and just give a little extra at the other 2 meals.
The only problem with feeding is that it may make him carsick. I like to travel only if my dog has an empty tummy for at least 4 hours or boy what a mess.
As far as getting a shot it doesn't matter. Although do realize she/he may just want to be lazy the rest of the day.
Also if this is her fisrt shot she should be in a crate or in your arem. Donot pupt her on the ground as shecan pick something up. Most shots take a week -2 weeks to take affect so still be ccareful with where you go withthte pups

I dont restrict food for shots but, I do give less due to the car ride. Since I take all my dogs at once for regular visits there is always one whose stomach gets upset.

Hey, don't worry about it. Just feed him as usual.
But if you were planning on giving him a bath today, better delay that for about a day or two, coz my vet always says don't bathe him after vaccination.
Cheers.

Not a problem ... feed your puppy as you usually would. The puppy's shot will have little to no effect on your puppy, other than minor soreness at the injection site. :)
