I like the terminal buildings and the airplanes.

One thing that amazed me in Toronto recently was that the terminal must have had a few thousand people in it but the place was quiet and peaceful, good design.

have you seen the film dogma , there is a brilliant part at the start of the film where the main characters are in an airport when one asks the other what fascinates him so much about airports he replies something along the lines of " no matter what has happened while people have been apart or away all has been forgotten for that one special moment when they are clenched holding each other tight , becasue little does that man over there know his wife cheated on him 3 times " i thought this was brilliant and when i visit an airport to go away i think of all the emotion that runs through the place

It all depends of the circumstances. Going to take a plane in an airport is always a happy and exciting moment for me. For, I love flying on planes.

But it may a very sad moment in some instance as I discovered it while once quiting the United States for France.

I love the excitment before even getting there.
Once there, I enjoy watching people, the chat, watching the planes take off and land, going through to departures & boarding the plane.
An airport is full of excitment.

It depends on the airport. I like different things at different airports. I like to look for what makes that airport "local." There is always something. Find it and enjoy.

So do I but I'm afraid when you fly with some of the cheaper airlines shall we say you don't get much of a chance to take in your surroundings because they rush everyone through.

Absolutely nothing - I hate them! They are always crowded, disorganised and they smell bad - either recycled air or heavy perfume from the duty free shops! And getting a drink or something to eat is so expensive!!

I hate flying too, it doesn't frighten me, it's just so uncomfortable and boring!
