Since the Aztec and Mayan calendars end on the winter solstice of 2012, I think anything as late as 2020 will be a moot point.

Probably too many problems that could have been avoided. Well, let's just say that my tubal ligation (that's spaying for human females) is pending on the results of the next Australian and US elections. As long as the Australian (conservative) Liberal Party or the US Republicans are in power there'll be no irresponsible breeding on my behalf. Even if they don't get in, I'm pretty much decided that I don't want to have to explain the state of our world to children in 2020 anyway. I'll just have a good time, not eat meat, save water and pray for everyone else's kids.

Nope, it will be Aeriel traffic jams, of everyone driving their jet cars to work everyday.

And of course, they will still be whineing about Bush in 2020.

The biggest problem would be if Bush managed to change US policy and get re-elected for more than 2 terms therfore dooming the planet and its contents to eternal doom and damnation.
