I'd say the things to which I've had the courage to say "no." There have been many paths I could've gone down such as drugs, alcoholism, not trusting God, crime, promiscuity, laziness....but I chose not to walk down those paths. Had I gone down any of those different routes, my life would be much different and much less happy than it is today.

The things I have done. In some ways, this is having the courage to say "no" to fear. For example, I had never sang in front of anyone but my husband and children. One day I decided that I was going to say no to my fear of failure (or perhaps it was a fear of success) and I tried out for a solo part with my church's choir. I'm not saying I'm an amazing singer, but many people that I've known for a while were totally blown away that I could sing but never did. I can't begin to say what this has done for me to step out and actually do something that I was deathly afraid of. It felt really good and it has been an enormous blessing in my life.

The things I have done to help me understand the bible, the thing that the whole world seems to be opposed to as if it is a sin, a taboo, a no, no!

I knew I could not understand the bible if I did not know the time between each event that does give the time, or the time each person in the bible had in years from birth year to death year.

I sure am glad, that time is given as it is, is the bible people give it, it is meant to be known, but I sure do not have any one outside the bible to talk to about it. Thanks to God for this part of the bible. 1Thes.5:1-9,21; We can know all but the day and the hour. Matt.24:3,14,36-38; I guess the world does not want to know or just does not care or maybe they do not try to get it right for the one who have got it wrong, this could not be, if facts are examined.

This is a puzzle I'm still trying to figure out; I've not had the best choices in life and there is much I should have said "no" to.

In the end, it is probably restraint that is the virtue most humans could learn from.

The things I have done.

I have only done one thing in my life that I wish I had not done. Everything else has been good or has taught me lessons worth learning.
