I understand chistians stand on pornography because it causes lust which is a sin but I am unsure on what to know about Nudists. I am christian and my GF is also. She is a nudists and wants me to go with her to a reteat. I am going so I am not asking permision I am just wondering what other chistians think of non pornographic nudity.

I'm a Christian, and I don't have a problem with nudism. The human body is nothing to be ashamed of.

I suppose that one's reason for doing such a thing in the first place must be carefully examined. Most people do it because they worship the flesh rather than Him who created it. I personally can see no way that it glorifies God. Nudity actually represented SIN ITSELF after Adam and Eve disobeyed God. And so I would never do such a thing.

You would probably get a wide range of opinions on this one from all different types of Christians. It might depend more on the persons background, age, upbringing or political values instead. I don't see any problem with it, but most of my family would. I've got Jewish, Christian, Catholic, and people of mixed beliefs like me spread throughout my family, so you can imagine the raging arguments this would bring up!

I am against it- due to the fact that we are to keep ourselves pure until we are married, and seeing your GF nude before marriage is a big part of that , don't you think. Seeing other women may make you compare your GF to them , which is wrong too. Looking at someone of the opposite sex, could cause lust don't you think? This is pretty much common sense, if you are a Christian stay away. However, it is your choice, but since you asked..........

i cannot and will not judge you for going. i on the other hand look better in clothes :) honestly tho, i could never do it given my past struggles but i dont think i have a problem with it but here are some thoughts. i feel the body is sacred and i would have a problem with other people seeing my fiance naked because that is something sacred to her and soon will be sacred to me too. i know if i saw my fiance naked i would go nuts HAHA...also, we are called to be disciplined and being naked around a lot of other naked people just doesnt seem too disciplined for some reason. just thoughts, have fun, dont forget to pack sunblock :) good question, im thinking about getting naked right now, jk lol

The human body is nothing to be ashamed of, but if men and women are walking around nude in front of each other then it could cause lust just as pornography would.
Edit: Also it could be embarrassing if you were to get aroused by some other women in front of your girlfriend or in front of the other woman’s boyfriend.

I must say that as humans we are expected to behave differently than animals.
People wear clothes and animals do not.
I'm not sure it is a 'sin' per se, but it lowers the humanity of the human being.

i give you my permission to goto the nudist retreat. at least cover your private area with leaves from the tree of knowledge of good and evil when you get there. oh yeah, and try and look at as much porno as you can on the way there.
