Disagree. What benefit does a man gain from believing a lie?

Yes I agree with you that all religions have something valuable to teach. But as a muslim I let you know that in line with islamic teaching religions given by Allah through a prophets and messengers with holy books e.g Zabur through David prophet,Torakh through Moses prophet,Bible through Jesus prophet and the last Qur'an through Muhasmmad pbuh.
The God's religions are only Jewish religion,Christianity religion and Islam religion. The other religions with its holy books were made by humans which in line with islamic teaching it is called as culture..I think most religions teach good deeds/doings in line with its holy book. The contents of its book is not similar so there are differences among religions.Such as eating pig meat, drinking alcohol (khamar) and blood are prohibited in Islam but in other religions are not prohibited. In Christianity and Jewish religion God has a son but in Islam God has no son and no parents because God is only one e.g Allah no ally.( pure monotheism since Adam and Abraham).

Agree....I think that we need to look for the similarities and and not concentrate so much on the differences.
A little bit of Tolerance and Respect would go for a long way.

Yeah..they all say dont steal, dont lie, believe in god, be moral, be ritious....be humane... That's the basics of all religions..we cant even do that...

...priorities of whats important in religion seams to be screwed up everywhere...too busy practicing the things that make us different...instead of practicing the important things that make us united...like the basics i pointed out...which should be the MOST important things....

agree..

i might be paraphrasing
from Buddhism - "there are many paths to God"
from Christianity - "people judge you from the outside, but God judges you from within"
from Jewish (i think) - "don't teach your children only what you know, for they live in a different time"
.... there are many others

Disagree.

Humans have similar needs, similar desires.

"Nothing new under the sun".

Yes, it has been studied.

They may teach you the wrong path.
They may drag you away from the truth.
They may keep you wasting your time.
"Always learning, never able to understand the truth."

I believe so. Take JW's and Mormons, for example. They illustrate the importance of witnessing and being committed to what they believe.
