Just a man - notice how all the books speak of this, yet when they are tested the weaker ones they run away? Why is that I wonder does it have anything to do with our strength in unity?

Well maybe not at first. But as you pass tests after tests, it will gradually become harder. Until you think there's no way out and you've grown weary. So I guess the hard tests is what deter you.
