If you had to kill the cow would you still it the hamburgers from that cow!?

Yup. Done that. Pigs, chickens, ducks, fish,frogs turtles and a few others too.

if i had the guts to look the cow in the eye and still kill it i wd not only eat the hamburgers that came from it but also preserve the head and hang it in my trophy room along with the bears, bison and lions!
why kill the cow? isnt it easier to run down to the supermarket?

Well, I have helped to slaughter and butcher not only cows but hogs, turkeys and chickens. It unfortunately does not reduce the amount of saturated fat in the burger to do it yourself. My answer is no.
