The same could be said for society and it's ways, don't you think? Although, religion takes it a step further by doling out false hope like candy, I don't want to be around on the day that they all find out the truth, do you?

Yes, I would have to agree with that. We would like to think as Christians that it involves "heart washing" as well.

Failure to give my God all of me, including my brain, would be holding back something. He expects my brain as well as my heart to be centered on Him, and Praise God, I guess you could call that brainwashing.
