I have a very weak stomach and I always spend the next morning or the whole next day throwing up and if I'm not, then I'm feeling very nauseous. And if I look at alcohol even the next nite, I start feeling extremely nauseous again. How do I prevent this?

As someone suggested b4. Get a good (but not too heavy) meal b4 drinking. Not something with too much oil in it. Then some water during or after ur drinkin should also help. Also drink SLOWLY. No rushing and try not to mix brands. These always a work with beer. With wine and other spirits, it's a whole 'nuther ball game.

Ok, heres the key to not throwing up every time you drink. Drink on a more regular basis, but don't get trashed every night (just a few times a week)....theres this thing about being a budding alcoholic, we all have to build up tolerance, now if you spend a few months building up this tolerance you will be drinking like a champion in no time. And if you do end up getting wasted one night, I have the cure to the sight of alcohol not making you nauseous as well!!! When you look at alcohol sitting in front of you, you drink it.....trust me, after the first two or three beers you'll forget all about your nausea.

when you're out drinking.. make sure to drink water throughout the night.. alcohol dries out your system.. water rehydrates it.. also taking advil when you're out will help.. make sure it's not asprin though because asprin thins blood and so does alcohol.. not a good mix.. also make sure you eat before you start drinking.. if you eat too much you will feel weighted down and you also won't feel the effects of the alcohol until it suddenly hits you and by that time you're trashed.. but just eating a small meal to ground your stomache will help.. also.. in the morning.. eating a banana and drinking tea will help a hangover.. it really works.

I am going to assume you are a reasonabe person, however possibly young and feeling peer pressure to act irresponsibly. But you must understand the physiology of what's happening to your body when you get sick from drinking. Most people who drink casually never get ill. Most people who binge drink do. Reason? Alcohol poisoning. The body's natural defense is to rid itself of toxins. If you are pouring toxins on your stomach the body will rid itself of it by emptying the contents of the stomach. In short you are overloading your digestive system with alcohol too fast for it to process, it has to get rid of it. More than likely one of the other respondents is correct in her asumption that you are allergic to alcohol if you are only casual drinking and this is happening. But if you are as I suspect "binge drinking" then the only remedy is to not allow yourself to do it anymore. Probably not what you wanted to hear but hey it's the truth and deep down you know it.

only drink at your own pace, don't try to keep up with every one else your drinking with. i used to get bad reactions from alcohol, but by drinking at my own pace (don't join in with the shout rounds) and finding the drink that agrees with my body ( in my case, jack daniels cans) i find i can now have a drink or 12 !!!! and still out party all the people i am drinking with EVERY time, without even the thought of a hangover, and i have two kids to be in good health to care for without feeling crap the morning after, good luck hope all goes well !!!!!!!!!!!!!

My friend its genetics.. I drink 3 days a week and never threw up my whole life. But i have a history of alcoholics in my family. For some reason my body adapts to alcohol where maybe yours doesnt. Nothing bad to you just your body reacting..

Well if your gonna drink that much (like I do. lol ) try making yourself throw up the night before. I know people who have done that before, as well as myself, and it really helps me get through the next day. The headache may still be there though, and maybe you might be a wee bit nauseous, but it really does help. Plus your throwing up while being drunk which isn't as bad as throwing up when your sober. : )

Know your limits!

Try drinking for that pleasant buzzy feeling, rather than actually getting plastered.

Also, avoid mixing different alcohols (i.e, if you drink beer, stick to beer, and so forth).

Good luck!

Eat before you drink, maybe have some McDonald's or KFC before you go drinking, and pace yourself because if you drink to fast you can throw up just from having to much gas in your system, that and nobody likes beer farts, when you get back from drinking drink lots of water before you go to bed and have a bucket ready just in case because sometimes no matter how much you drink sometimes all the advice in the world won't stop you from tossing your cookies.

Eat a full meal before drinking, drink more slowly, try alternating a drink with a glass of water, drink less. Don't get wasted.
