get him a harness and keep him real close. he gets used to it. Pull him by your leg and say stay or heel . They learn from repetitive behavior. He's your best freind, so be loving to him. he loves his demon daddy!

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://bitly.im/aL5ym

A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

Learn to speak the language. A sharp bark...URKT...will get them to pay attention.

Practice practice practice. Get a nice leash and a choke collar. Just to give a quick tug.

Also, your dog sounds like it needs lots uf exercize. You must let it get a little tired before you can expect it to pay attention. Run and play. See if you can keep up and you will be in great shape too.

And USE TREATS to keep his attention and reward when doing the right thing.

Its good to start with Sit and Stay and then the pup will get the idea. And practice when there are no distractions.

When the distractions become too much you have to just stop and command a 'sit'. You may need to actually sooth the dog. You must ave control and attention. It might sound cruel, but will save your dog from a lot of trouble.

enjoy, and don't forget to roll around with your doggie.

Try a collar that deters the effort to pull, something like a slip collar or a halti. Slip collars tighten, like chokers, and work best if the lead is kept short and the collar is high up on the neck at the base of the skull. Carry treats and offer them when the dog walks beside of you. Say "Heel" and offer praise. When the dog starts to get off track and won't take commands, say stop and sit, then start over with heel. The halti works like a horse halter. I have a rottie and this is what we used to get her to heel properly. She likes it and listens well now. I still carry a few little treats in my pocket for praising during walks. It's good incentive to behave.

this might sound mean.. because i thought it was at first until i tried it.. use a "choke chain" up right behind the ears.. you have MUCH better control of the dog and it really doesnt hurt them.. it did a WORLD of wonders for my dog.. we both enjoy the walks much more now which means she gets longer ones and gets them more often :D and after they get used to it.. you dont really even have to hold the chain there.. they just know.. and just walk.. its great.. good luck!

my German shepherd (years ago) was like that but I kept him on a short lead and patience and praise and kindness worked. It took a while but in the end he walked to heel and was one hell of a dog.

You have to send him a vibe that he has to follow you. You are his owner. So you must let him know that by the way you present yourself, and how you feel. Don't look at him much, and hold his leash closer to you with your arm down. So walk with your head up, and throw him the vibe-and have patients.
