How do you like working when other people are sleeping and sleeping when other people are working? I do overnight news at a radio station and I enjoy the night shift.

It does involve a few handicaps when it comes to shopping, doing errands, and banking and such, but I do enjoy the night shift and think a lot of people would.

I RARELY get sleepy on the job...

My radio station is KTSA-AM 550, San Antonio, TX. We do have streaming audio on the web, but I don't know if it works at night when I'm on.

We do get a pretty good signal out at night, however. We cover a lot of Texas and do break into some neighboring states.

I work a lot of night shifts, and since I work in retail, the night shifts are great because that is less of the customers that I have to see! The only downside is that I don't have a set schedule, so I can never be sleep around 3pm to sleep for eight hours, then get up to go to work. So I normally don't sleep-and work straight through. Then I sleep for about 4-5 hours when I get home, which is enough time to run a few errands, then crash again. I normally never work 2 graveyards in a row, which doesn't help because my mind is thrown up in the air.

I am a night person and would prefer to work at night. The best part is to sleep as long as you like and you wake up all by yourself without an annoying alarm clock. Right know, I do a little bit of both, work at night a few hours and in the mornings. Better hit the sack.
