The M60 (formally the United States Machine Gun, Caliber 7.62 mm, M60) is a family of American general purpose long range machine guns firing 7.62 mm NATO cartridges from a disintegrating belt of M13 links.

Greetings. a M60 machinegun. which is a super complicated American copy of the German MG-42 or as it is known now in Europe MG-1, mounted on a flex mount. being phased out but new replacement not yet invented or announced if it has been.
