If you can't go to court, you can't plead not guilty on the case. There is no way to fight a ticket without going to court.

Also, there is no such thing as a "rolling stop". You etither come to a complete stop, or you do not.

I beat one before it was issued.
I was driving a scrufty van in an upity neighborhood and carefully came to a stop even with a sign at the end of the bridge over the tollroad. I then edged forward and looked to my right to look down a narrow neighborhood road flanked by bushes. Seeing it was clear, I pulled forward and turned left and saw a police car parked on the left half a block down. Sure enough, he u-turned, pulled in behind me and blipped his siren and lights.
Claimed I had run the stop sign (Rolling Stop) He collected my license. I collected a piece of paper and a pen and popped the door to walk across the street to sketch the location of the parked cop car. He returned in a threatening huff, wanting to know what I was doing.
I said that I didn't think he could see the stop sign through the trees and bushes in front of his car and therefore couldn't tell if I had stopped and I was going to sketch the scene and pace off measurements and have him sign the sketch. Then I would come back and take pictures.
He decided not to issue a ticket. I have a very clean record. I suspect he thought I was Mex-Am in the scrufty van and an easy score.
Pay the ticket if you can't go to court and don't do that no mo'

A rolling stop, is not a complete stop which is required. Unless you can prove that the Officer did not have a clear view, then you do not have a defense.

Citicop said it all. No need to read further then the first post.

I have seen judges find people not guilty on stop sign tickets before.
