I don't know why girls will go out with the stoners during high school. Because when they grow up they will most likely be bank rupt and will be goig no where. Instead of going out with the nice guys who have jobs, are loyal, and are not nerdish.

Its not just high school girls a lot of women let the bad boy image appeal to them. Also, they think they can change theses bad boys and make them productive members of society something like that is a 1 in 1000 thing but many of them try. When they are about 30 they realize the guy is a bum and will always be a bum, but with their 2.5 kids coupled with most of the good guys are snapped up so they become bitter, angry women. So, though it might seem difficult to understand at this time it all makes sense in the end. Seek out the nice quiet girls the ones going to college, also don't be too stuck on looks they are fleeting. Compatability is the #1 thing.

I'm in highschool and I've never dated and hopefully never will date a stoner or an alcoholic. And pretty much every girl I know hasn't either. But where I am about 90% of the guys are total sleazes and the nice and loyal ones are scarce.

the only girls that would go for someone like that would be ones that have problems themselves, with being into alcohol or drugs of some kind.(or the boy has money). either way they have problems of their own. the smart ones never fool with someone like that. when i was in school all the popular girls preferred the jocks and atheletes. there are alot of girls that go for the "bad boy" image. and then there are alot of boys that won't give a nice smart, nice girl the time of day either so it goes both ways. i avoided all that crap when i was in school and never had anything but friendship with any of the boys i went to school with, only guys from other schools that went to church with us. good luck and best wishes.

They want to be in the popular crowd.If I were you I'd find me someone who is more focused on school.When I was in school I had the same problem.I just hung with people who did their work and knew how to have a good time without being intoxicated.The younger you are when you start drinking, the worst your liver and kidneys will be when you get older.Don't try to grow up too fast.

Uh, I'd say the attention and money. I'm 21, when I was in high school (and middle school) I thought thugs and older guys were cool.
Bad guys are cocky and approach whatever female they want, if more decent guys approached me I gladly would've taken them. I dtaed a decent guy like that in high school for 8 months. He still doing well to this day, he just joine dth army, too. And he's a year younger than me.

in high school i didnt want the boyfriend who doesnt have connections and a social life and unfortunately that what a social life is in high school
at least where i went to high school it is
but u kno in the end i dated the one guy who was cool and didnt do any of that
we celebrated our one year anniversary last friday
we have the greatest time together
even though im sober mostly
but he drinks a bit when we go to parties but that no way near an alki anyways

Really? At my old school mostly the jocks and charismatic ones got the girls. Stoners got the stoner girls sometimes.

every girl likes a little bad in a boy, and in HS the bad boys were the stoners and the alcoholics. but after HS they realize real fast that those kinda boys arent going anywhere...and realize who the real men are!

They think is cool, until they start living with them and start to see the true colors. Girls who look for guys like that usually come from dysfunctional fam. some of them think it's normal because they are used to see the same behavior in their own family's.

So that they know not to date these guys when they are older and looking for a life partner! At least that's where this has helped me .....I will NEVER date another druggie again! Hey, the best way to learn is from experience :)
