We found a new cat in our neighborhood, and we figure its a stray, so we plan on keeping it (after taking it to a vet and having it checkd out). Its a little girl, kinda looks like a young lynx...so she has no tail. What do you think we should name her? Only serious suggestions please.

Thanks!

Bobbie! I think it's cute (bob tail) and it's 'ie' instead of just blain Bobby. Which automatically makes it a great girly name.

Mao, Bast, Bastet, Sekhmet...Egyptian names for feline type Goddesses.
Take some clues from your favorite things. My children love anime, and so named a pair of our cats after 2 characters in one of their movies, Chihiro and Haku from Spirited Away. My husband named his cat from Lord of the Rings, Aragorn.
The right name will find it's way to you.
Lots of luck to you and the kitty!
