as long as the pregnancy is not too far along then most vets would be willing to spay the cat, therefore aborting the kittens
(there are already so many beautiful, healthy kittens being put to sleep in shelters every day, I certainly hope the birth of more can be prevented)
if it is late in the pregnancy term then it may be dangerous to the mother to be spayed because her abdomen is stretched out so the incision would be larger and it can increase the amount of blood she loses
your vet will be able to determine how far along she is and if the operation can be done now (to abort the kittens and prevent further pregnancy), or if she is too far along and must have the kittens before being spayed

Yes, they certainly can. Ive trapped a feral cat that the vet said was " In Late Pregnancy" and had no problem with going forward and spaying her. (Don't worry I released her a couple days later and she is doing fine and I see her every night when she comes to eat) By going forward with this, you really are helping out with over population of cats. Also, don't forget, your cat will actually be happier once recovered from spaying because she won't have to deal with the large amount of stress on the her during and after pregnancy. Its not to late and Bless you!

The kitten should be neutered at 4 months old if he's gonna be around an intact female. Kittens that young can breed and certainly can by 6 months old. As far as spraying? That varies - some spray early, some not at all. I would physically separate them - put one in the bathroom with a litter box for a few days. You HAVE to get her spayed. And don't tell me you cannot separate them. She will continue to produce milk and he will nurse unless they are separated. If she is back in heat again, keep them apart and have her spayed in a few weeks.

Yes, it is possible, depending on a variety of factors: How far the pregnancy is advanced (they don't usually do it late in the term), health of the mom, etc.
The vets usually charge more for the procedure.

yes it is possible. you really should do asap just because it is safer. It is best not to have the baby's born because there are already thousands of cats and kittens being euthanized in shelters. thanks for not adding to the problem.
