Hola

You have to say:

Dios debió gastar un poquito más de tiempo en ti

This is the way a mexican like me would say it,

I have seen that other answers use "usted" or "ustedes" but iI think this is to personal to use "usted" or "ustedes", then I think you want to say it to a really closer person, then you have to use "tú"

Informal / you (singular)
Dios debería haber empleado en ti un poco más tiempo.

Formal / you (singular)
Dios debería haber empleado en Usted un poco más tiempo

You (plural)
Dios debería haber empleado en Ustedes un poco más tiempo.

You may use also the verb gastar (hence gastado) instead of emplear (empleado). They're absolutely interchangeable in this kind of sentence. However I guess 'must have' in the Spanish construction should be better translated by using the conditional (debería haber ) instead of the indicative present (debe haber) or future (habrá).
