No 1 rule. Never cross a girl's best friend. Not only you will break your love one's heart, but you may also destroy their friendship. Ask yourself, do you want to be thought as selfish and if ever do you like the idea that your best bud get's attracted to your GF and he will try to do something about it? Like woo her or flirt with her. How would you feel? RESPECT is the key. There are a lot of girls you can get attracted to. If you really love your girl you wont try to cross the girl best friend territory. That's a big NO.. NO...Respect your girl, and respect the people that she considers dear. Even If her best friend finds you attractive.. Be Noble enough to say, it is wrong, set an example and show that you respect her friend.. after all that's the right thing to do. Who ever said doing the right thing is Easy. but as the Golden rule. says... dont do to others what you dont want others to do unto you. Before doing anything always place yourself in their shoes, it would help you make decisions and guide you for the best..

You can like her best friend only keep it to yourself.
It's okay that you love her and like her best friend.
It's very normal. But if you really love her you won't pursue anything with her best friend unless you have real feelings for her too. Then you have to think about this seriously and choose the one you want to be with. Other than that keep this to yourself and don't make any stupid moves on her bestfriend as you will lose both.

If you really love your gf, don't be tempted by the friend. All through life there will be temptations for you, and for your partner. Now is the time to learn how to resist the temptations, and use your good judgement. Just because the grass looks greener on the other side of the fence, does not mean that it really is greener. It always looks better from a distance!!!

dont say you love the girl if your looking and crushing her bestfriend! that is crazy and could cause a lot of problems between them! stay with your girlfriend and forget about her friend thats the best thing you can do. there are no other options.

If you really love her than there is no question to be asked. Keep your distance from the best friend and treat your girl with respect.
If you think it's going to be an issue for you, walk away from them both. It's not fair to either of them for you to mess with their heads.
