But then when you show interest in them, they say you're not their type? Well, isn't that contradictory? & it especially hurts when you have a crush on this person & have all your hopes up, thinking he/she'll be interested.

well..thats life for u babe..
there is noooo way in hell that any one person would go for any one.there has to be preferences, its not about being picky...its about attraction.u gotta be attracted to ur mate to spend the rest of ur life wif 'em!
but yeah..it does bother me a bit when ppl say that they aint picky, but has a picture of the person that their looking for in their minds..its not wrong to be a bit picky, but at least be honest to urself if not others...right?

I would have serious doubts about someone who said that!! I would figure that meant they were desperate or nuts because I think everyone has some kind of criteria for the kind of person they want!!
