They all USED to oppose artificial birth control. Gradually, over them, they were swayed by the secular culture into accepting it.

No, the Episcopal church has no sanctions relative to birth control. The Catholic church, though, against birth control in any form other than abstinence, is mellowing on the birth control issue. Individual priests, when asked the churches position on birth control will give variations of their position.
