If you are bolting it to an automatic you will need the properly weighted torque converter if it is a standard you'll need the right flywheel. The 360 is a cast crank externally balanced motor with larger mains than the other la motors. The 318 -340 are internally balanced and have smaller main bearings.

The 318, 340 and 360 share a block! The difference is in bore and stroke. The 360 should drop right in and bolt up with no problems!

Like Amy says, use the torque converter that came with that particular engine or you will pick up an engine shake. The converter is part of the balancing for that engine.

just like the last 2 answers, the engine is a direct bolt in. the only differences between 5.2 and 5.9 are internal. you have to use a 5.9 flexplate or flywheel and 5.9 torque convertor to balance right.

properly you have a pair thoughts - looking a set of unique 340 heads would be puzzling and severe priced yet another thoughts may well be to locate a set of 360 heads and placed the bigger valves and better springs in them, basically changing them to 340 heads - the fee of this may well be approximately what you may spend on a set of Edelbrock heads

It should bolt right up, just use the flywheel from the 360.
