When you sneeze and someone says bless you or gazeuntite (definitly don't know how to spell that one) do you still say excuse me or do you say thank you or do you say both?

when i sneeze, it's usually a huge ordeal...because i get myself so prepped up for it! hahah! i usually sneeze really loud because i can't hold it in and laugh at myself....and people say bless you laughingly ....and then i say excuse me! thank you!

No matter what happens after you sneeze you should always immediatly say excuse me. And then if someone has said something like "bless you," then immediatly follow with a "thank you."
Saying "excuse me," is just the polite thing to do, weather it is a sneeze, a burp, a passing of gas, etc.

In line with islamic teaching after sneezing we should say may God bless us and all praises are for God only.Sneexing is a God's warning that we will have a cold disease.

I totally agree.... IF no one says anything after you sneeze - just politely say "Excuse me"... if someone says "Bless You", "God Bless You" etc... then you respond with a polite "Thank you."

say 'excuse me' as you are sneezing and before someone says 'bless you'...you may then have time to say 'thank you' then...and smile

I say "excuse me"
He/She says " bless you"
I say " thank you".

a thank you will do just fine. if noone responds with God bless you say excuse me.

Excuse yourself if no one responds in a couple seconds. If they do, reply with a thank you.
