what are the prime evils?
i know one is pride but im not sure about teh rest

The seven deadly sins are as follows:
Luxuria (extravagance, later lust),
Gula (gluttony), Avaritia (greed),
Acedia (sloth),
Ira (wrath, more commonly known as anger),
Invidia (envy), and
Superbia (pride).
Each of the seven deadly sins has an opposite among the corresponding seven holy virtues (sometimes also referred to as the contrary virtues).
In parallel order to the sins they oppose, the seven holy virtues are
chastity,
abstinence,
temperance,
diligence,
patience,
kindness, and
humility.
I find it interesting that those people in power who claim to piety are ignorant of these sins and exemplify them.
For instance, think about the republican right fundamentalists who are perverts, fat, greedy, slothful, wrathful, envious and proud.
Amazing huh?
Consider how rich these bastards are.
Consider how they EAT at fancy restaurants on our dime.
Consider how they waste time arguing instead of accomplishing anything.
Consider how they torture and kill their opponents.
They don’t seem envious, except for the middle-east’s oil.
They are proud of their stupidity, lack of accomplishment and their piety.
Funny huh?
Those that most eschew evil are those who most embody it.
Just a test here…
Ask any republican asshole what the seven deadly sins are.
See how many he can name.
Here’s another fun one…
Ask any fundie what the ten commandments are.
In my experience, ALL of them do not know.

It depends who you ask. If you ask a Mormon, drinking coffee, tea and alcohol, smoking cigarettes and masturbating are prime evils. If you ask a protestant, praying to dead saints would be a prime evil . . . and if you ask me, depriving me of chocolate is tops on the list of prime evils.
