It's not that there are no homosexuals, but that homosexuals are too afraid to stand up and be counted for fear of being murdered by self-righteous kooks in high places. Sad, sick, and totally immoral if you ask me.

I think it really says something about that country that they feel they have to deny the presence of a certain number of their own citizens. That is just sad.
Why do they need a death penalty for homosexuals if there aren't any, I wonder?
The PMs idea is flawed in that most Christians (at least the ones I know, ok?) are not anti-gay anyway.

My pal you have purely stated between the super ironies of usa. the only people who share conservative christianity's perspectives on maximum issues happens to be yet another team who they hate. So no, they gained't circulate to Iran because of the fact homosexuals are undesirable, yet muslims are worse.

Our President is Christian. I think if Christians wanted to live like Iranians... Bush would have made that happen a long time ago. I tend to believe that Christians actually do respect human rights.

Even though they won't admit it, there are a TON of gay Christians. Just look at all the scandals involving Christian politicians over the years. Those scandals are just prominent Christians, it stands to reason that there are many, many more unpublicized ones.
