I went to the doctor and he says that he can do a little liposuction around my thighs to help me get rid of that nasty cellulite. I'm hoping that this is alright with God. I just want to look fabulous, that's all!

I am so busy with my 5 kids (all under 8 years old!) and I hate exercising and dieting, life's too short! So I thought the only option for getting rid of my ugly cellulite was to book in with a set of weekly medical roller treatments. Job done.

However, they cost me a monstrous $3000 and, you guessed it, did absolutely nothing. I couldn't believe it. It left me thoroughly depressed.

I saw this info on the web and I gave it a go, what did I have to lose now! And, my god this is genius. Quick and easy. I feel so wonderful in my new, smooth, renewed figure! I am a yummy mummy now!

I do medical research. I don't believe in creams or other useless products like gels or lotions. Cellulite is not a skin problem, it's an underlying structural issue. Check out this site http://nocellulite.toptips.org
It has a lot of useful tips about natural remedies to treat cellulite.

Cellulite does not come from a single cause. It almost always comes from a combination of generic and hormonal factors. Some wrong behaviors, however, can cause or even worsen cellulite: a life that is too sedentary, altered blood circulation, incorrect diet with insufficient intake of fluids, smoking and alcoholic beverages, high heels and close-fitting garments. The plasma fluid, transudated from impaired and weakened capillaries, accumulates and stagnates in surface adipose tissue.
Cellulite can be reduced by a balanced diet and specific treatments https://tr.im/MZmUM

LOL I think liposuction is the lazy persons way out of fat. I think God would rather have you exercise it off but I don't think you will go to hell if you get liposuction.

God was never one to judge the quality of people for their looks or possesions. He looks for the beauty of their spirits. Kindness, gentleness, loving to others, expressing joy as a child. Being willing to help others. If you posses all these qualities now. Go ahead with fixing yourself up. The way we look on the outside just doesn't impress God much from what I have read.

After examining the solutions to that question, my blood is formally boiling. people... ugh. they do no longer trouble to look for themselves... they do no longer trouble to question who translated the Bible or whilst or what form of guy or woman they have been... it is so stupid. how are you able to base your total existence on a e book and not recognize something approximately that's beginning place? one among my absolute well-known movies is "For the Bible Tells Me So" (link on my profile) and it talks approximately homosexuality and the Bible. anybody utilising the Bible to justify their homophobia greater advantageous desire greater people do no longer see this action picture. "The Bible is the recognize God contained in direction of the words of adult males speaking interior the idiom of their time." ~Archbishop Desmond Tutu The passage approximately homosexuality being an "abomination" in basic terms states (whilst translated wisely) that homosexuality became UNCUSTOMARY on the time... Bible literalists are humorous... can we nonetheless stone people to dying now? NO! Do Christian adult males take a set of better halves now? NO! can we shrink off our palms in the event that they reason us to sin? NO! NO! NO! additionally, what number different issues (that we do on a daily foundation) are listed as "abominations" interior the Bible? you would be shocked... nicely, maybe no longer you... they could, nonetheless. So how do you pick which verses are the "maximum serious?" in basic terms %. those that line up with your guy or woman prejudices... that's the way it variety of feels... and that i observed this as a believer who grew up in church and went to a Christian extreme college. Christianity / spirituality is captivating... yet faith may be an unpleasant, grotesque ingredient.

Beats me, but I hate the stuff too. I doubt 'God's' gonna condemn you for getting rid of it. If he does, just tell him he shouldn't have saddled you with it.

Here's an interesting tidbit for you: do you realize that every aspect of what a person "sees" when they look at you is dead? The outer layer of your skin is comprised of dead cells. Your beautiful flowing hair? Dead. Fingernails - dead. All of it. What "lives" inside of you is encased in a layer of dead sloughing, shedding cells of various types. Pretty isn't it?

No you ask if God approves of liposuction. This is not a question, but an attempt to mock God, who will not be mocked. In asking the question, remember that, on the day of judgment, God will not care one whit about your appearance. He will not have more mercy on the beaufiful, nor on the hideous. 1 Samuel 16:7 says, But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”

In this context, the "heart" obviously does not mean the beating muscle that lies in your chest cavity, but the thoughts, the motivations behind your every action. Do you want liposuction to remove fat so you can be feel more attractive to your husband? Nothing wrong with that, if your heart is motivated by love and a desire to please your husband.

Here's the crazy part: let's say that you wanted liposuction so that you could please your husband (not a sin) but in order to have the procedure done, you had to steal money or lie to your boss to get the time off. Suddenly, the whole enterprise is sinful, because lying and stealing are obviously violations of God's commandments. Let's say you wanted to be more attractive to your boyfriend with whom you are sexually active; the motivation is founded on something (fornication) that is clearly in violation of God's commandments.

That's why Christians don't go down the road of "interpreting" whether liposuction or eating too much ice cream or wearing jewelry or spiking up your hair or driving a BMW is sinful. The standard for sin is rock solid: is your faith for your salvation truly in Jesus Christ alone? Christians know that, if the answer to that question is yes, then God will guide you to modesty, to seeking the internal beauty that radiates from a Godly woman, and, if you still feel compelled and can pursue the liposuction without a heart that is convicted by sin, then go for it! If the answer is, "no," then you are already living life of sin and are headed for death, so God won't look at your liposuction as MORE sinful than the thousands of other sins you have committed. Only one is sufficient for Him to bring His righteous judgment against you with the promised penalty of death.

God's grace is not a list of do's and don'ts, but a relationship where EVERY decision you make is guided by the awareness that He is your Lord, you are His servant, and it is His desire to bring you fullness of life through obedience to His prompting through His Holy Spirit who dwells in the heart of every believer.

That is to say, if you are NOT a believer, then your life is one big sin because you have failed to start the process of new birth at the beginning: you have failed to seek the Lord Jesus Christ first. Jesus said in Matthew 7:8
For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

(And for those who would see this as a license to ask for material riches for ungodly purposes, this is explained in James 4:3
You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.)

The passage in Matthew is speaking of asking for godly wisdom and the gifts of the Holy Spirit, not of worldly wealth. On the other hand, God is the source of all worldly wealth and is certainly capable of pouring it out onto us if, as He examines our hearts, He can see clearly that our intentions are pure, and that it aligns with His will for our lives.

We serve an awesome God!
