You should take him to the vet to get an X-ray. That's the only way to make a proper diagnosis.

I hate to jump to the obvious, but a visit to the vet should be top on your list of "things to do" tomorrow. The leg could be broken. It could be dislocated. There may be an open wound, an bite injury from another dog, a sub-luxated knee, a torn muscle... just too many possibilities to mention...

Well if the leg has a cut or anything on it he might have an infected bite or cut. The leg could be fractured or it might be as simple as it got bruised somehow.
The best thing to do is go to the vet. They will be able to help.

Could be the dog is developing arthritis in his legs or he may have an underlying problem. Go to the vet asap. My vet recommends aspirin for pain and arthritis in my boxer. If he's smaller, give a baby aspirin or aspirin low dose.

How long has her leg bothered her? I would highly recommend taking her to the vet.
Don't let "DP" bother you...this person tends to leave smart A@@ remarks everywhere IT goes.
**EDIT**
Don't give your dog any medication unless your vet has given you the okay to do before.

My xray machine is at the cleaners.. You'll need to find a vet that can check the leg for you.
