Some nights both of our dogs will be just staring at the ceiling. There is no shadow, I don't see any light reflecting, both of my dogs will start to growl. I heard that dogs have this "ghost" sense or something. Is it really true?

i know they can. they say that when a dog is scared, its tail lies down and that they run to hide somewhere. you can also sense it in their facial expression. this happened to my dog once.

well this signifiers do not only apply when dogs see ghosts alone. it also happens when they're scared (that's what i know)

I believe that they can as I remember that my german shepherd was laying in the room with us and he was facing the room door as it was open. He started to growl at completely nothing and I am sure that he saw something as I thought that I saw a shape walking past the doorway when I looked up. So yeas I do believe that animals can sense there are ghosts around.

Yes. Dogs can sense ghosts. We had a tiny melrose who just would just start barking at the middle of the room all scared and agitated but we did not see anything. So I think they do.

Oh my gosh I think all animals have a sixth sense! I can tell if something is going on by the way my cat reacts. Even the dog. So yes...I think they can sense maybe spirits and emotions.

I managed a group home for ten years and there was a spirit in the home that made himself noticed by both my dog and my cat. Several staff members as well as myself saw the spirit often and heard as well as saw the things it did. Pets are very alert to the presence of spirits.

Yes I think so, my pug does a similar thing as well. Its pretty scary when you are sleeping alone in the room with him and he does that in the middle of the night. But really, if there nothing unusual happening in the house, then just let it pass.

One of my cats sometimes starts looking up the wall, gets up on his hind legs, leans against the wall with his front paws and starts meowing at something he sees. I think cats can also see ghosts and that which humans can't.

Dogs have acute senses and I believe they can sense the afterlife.

I,in my opinion, believe that they can. Dogs and cats have more, and higher tuned senses than we do!
