I always get some type of work done for my B Day and its comming up at the end of the month. I really want to get another tattoo, I have not gotten a response from my Derm. yet. But even if he says no I am thinkin of still getting it. The only symptoms I have had are the dry nose and skin so I dont feel like the risk is that bad. I also talked w/ my tattoo artist, but he has not worked on anyone taking it that he knew of.

Do not get a tattoo while you are on Accutane. Accutane makes you skin sensitive so it really isn't worth the risk of complications. (e.g. allergic reaction, irritated skin that becomes infected, serious itching because your skin dries out)

Here's a hospital website that backs me up: http://www.childrens-mercy.org/CareCard/Card/View.asp?lang=e&id=MED-03-078

i became accutane for 6 months, and have been given a tattoo a minimum of three months after i finished taking it, maybe longer. i did no longer have any area outcomes different than for chapped lips nonetheless. it may desire to reason problems with tattoos in case you're on it, yet i don't recognize how long in a while. you ought to attend till all area outcomes are long previous, maybe talk on your common practitioner and artist.
