As a healthcare provider I can tell you that there are several possible options. Maybe they forgot to draw enough blood for all the tests that were ordered. Maybe a vial drawn got broken. Maybe a test came back a little off and we sometimes repeat them to make sure it was not lab error.....or we run a more specific test. So it doesn't have to be that something is wrong with you. Don't obsess and worry......just go.

Not necessarily. It could be possible the phlebotomist just didn't draw the right amount or correct tubes for the tests your doc was ordering and they needed more blood

Not necessarily. It is probably because they didn't get enough the first time, or they dropped your vial of blood, or they might have forgot to put your name on it. Usually they wouldn't know this quick if something was wrong...

Nothing wrong with you. Apparently it was contaminated, mislabeled or spilled. I wouldn't worry about it but I would tell them I don't appreciate the inconvenience of coming back.
