I Didn't start untill I Was 17 & It wasn't as exciting as TV makes it seem. I mean Dont Get Me Wrong It was good but @ the age of 15 or younger i dont think it would of been something on my to do list. There's So much More things kids should be doing then having sex at a young age. What happends when those Two 15 year old kids get pregnant ?? They think mommy and daddy are gonna take care of them { Not This Time} Wait it out Try something else Sex will come around.

What age will you be ready to handle children?

In spite of condoms, "pulling out", being on the pill, whatever, people get pregnant from having sex. That means that if you have sex, there's a chance you'll wind up with a child because of it. If you're not able to take that responsibility, then you're not ready to have sex.

If you're thinking right now, "well I'm good with kids, I could handle it", think about what it would do to your schooling, having to tote a little one around with you everywhere or paying for childcare. It's not something a fifteen year old needs to be dealing with. I've known girls your age who got pregnant, and I think in the end they really wish they had waited.

I'm not trying to scare you by saying "If you have sex you'll have a baby and your life will be ruined". That's not what I'm saying at all. What I'm saying is that whatever you do, you need to take responsibility for your actions. If you can't do that, then you're not ready. Don't rush it. The time will come and it'll be perfect, and you won't have anything to worry about. Wait for that.

When you are

1) able to support a baby emotionally, financially and spiritually.

and

2) willing to spend the rest of your life serving the person you are having sex with.. I say serving because in marriages that work both partners take care of the other person and think of the other person first.

If you aren't ready to get married and have kids you aren't ready for sex.

Reason is that sex sometimes pulls you into kids and marriage.

The right time to make love for the first time has very little to do with age. When you have enough education to support yourself in a style to which you can become accustomed...
when you make enough money to woo a wonderful young woman... when you can promise her the moon and give her the stars as well... when you're smart enough to teach a chicken to tango... then you'll be ready!!!!!!

i don't think it should even enter you mind before 18, and then it should be considered with the most sincere intentions. that is a BIG undertaking. but you're risking pregnancy, disease, mental sickness, and a ton of other things could arise from sex, and at 15, you're not nearly capable of processing al the emotions.

a good rule to follow regarding sex is to ask your grandmother if you're old enough yet.

I think a person should have sex when they feel they are reay and they undersatnd just what they are doing. Part of having sex for the first time, no matter what you age is being able to live with yourself and your choice afterwords.
I am 17 and have not had sex.

Wait as long as necessary and don't jump in to it too quickly, you might regret it later. However I will advise you not to have sex until your out of high school, this way you will not get caught up in a premature relationship that will just end up in the gutter 3 years later. Trust me.

19 or 20. But I didn't take my own retroactive advice. Before that I was not nearly responsible enough, but of course I didn't realize it.
