like when you say to your guy friend that a certain girl thinks like a man is that a compliment or rather an insult, are you intimidated by women who can actually think like a man, somehow who for example loves sports and reads a lot about politics?

I'm a guy, and I don't say to my friends that a certain woman (not a "girl" unless she's a kid) "thinks like a man" -- since there's a lot of variation among men, and among women! I'll be specific in what I'm describing, for example, "She's crazy about football, and especially follows the Baltimore Ravens."

I'd rather not imply that "women should" or "men should" have certain interests, or ways of solving problems or relating to people. We can all learn from what the women and men in our lives do well.

It's hard to say out of context....you get the two possibilities:

1.She is JUST like a guy..as in not a girl to date..she is a guy and not a female at all. She'd make a good Friend, but never a date.

2.She is a cool girl who gets the guy kind of life. She'd be a great date because you would not have to put up with the normal girl crazy stuff.

--Most guys are intimidated by women who can think and like sports and knows about politics...even more so if the guy is dumb. Not all guys though, some of us like women like that.
