If you met someone who was everything you wanted such as smart, funny, handsome or beautiful, successful, etc., but years back they had an STD, but was cured of it, would you date them?

Interesting question. Here is a question for you. How many people have you dated that you didn't know if they ever had an STD ? Most people are not doing to volunteer to tell you that they had " the clap" or any other STD years ago. In a perfect world, we all would divulge that type of information to our significant other before engaging in sexual behavior. BUT, since we don't live in a perfect world, it is your responsibility to protect yourself and make sure that your spouse does not have anything NOW. You don't want you coohie/slong to get burned up do ya ? But, if your significant other did had an STD in the past , has been curred, and decided not to tell you about it ( because you never asked), what can you do about it ? NOTHING !!!! Again, you need to focus on wheather he/she is burning NOW !!!! Would I sleep with someone who had an STD in the past ? Yes, but only if I LOVE her,and after getting her to the doctor to have a coochie check up. Afterwards, I still would wear a condom in case the STD is in regression. My point to you is, you can't do anything about a persons past ......................... But you can protect your future by asking questions before intimacy ( "Sweetie......Have you ever had herpes or another STD". ) If she/he gets mad because you asked that question, then **** him/her. Next, again let him/her prove that they are " clean " now. If she/he wants to have sexual relations with you then they'll do it .

I would have to say it would have to be a matter of how did he/she get it? Was it a cheating spouse that brought something home and therefore the person who received the STD had no choice in the matter or did they get it from just being careless? I think you have to look at the whole scenario.
