You need to focus on a healthy diet. Whats a healthy diet? It consists of low calorie intake, but more over, low fat, low carb diet. what are carbs? sugar, usually. carbs are energy. And you want your body to use your stored energy. Don't drink soda. Don't eat pizza. Pasta aint bad... but no cheese.

Well now!
What I am going to tell you, I think you alrady know.
There are only two ways to loose weight.
1. Increase calories burned
2. Decrease calories eatten.

Why not do a little of both?
A. Increase calories burned - that means exercise. A very good idea here Get a job! The more work you do the more calories will be burned.
B. Stop watching TV.
C. Find a companion that will walk with you.
D. Watch what you eat- Get a handle on junk food. Soda and cola drinks have a lot of calories. Drink water and juice , and tea instead. Eat lots of veggies.
E. Get a companion and set up a walking schedule

Also - get a medical check to be sure you are OK for the extra exercise.
Remember - More exercise
Better quality food - no junk food
Eat a little less
And don't beat yourself up. Just do a little each day. A little adds up to a lot at the end of the month. No body looss weight perfectly. You will have ups and downs. That is normal and expected.
Also - Smile a lot and think happy thoughts

You do not need to be on a diet at this age, because your body is still growing and maturing. If I had my way, kids wouldn't be allowed to diet until 25, because it takes that long for your brain to mature. Before that, you starving yourself is making the body take out of your tissues just for energy to live and grow.

Running is good, but strength training would be good, too. Can you join a local gym? Take classes in dancing, cardio, pilates, yoga, swim laps, etc.

No starving from the food angle. Eat healthy food & snacks. No soda or candy bars or chips. No running yourself ragged exercising, either. If you can't join a gym, go to Half-price books and buy an exercise dvd and exercise in the privacy of your own home (I do that. Windsor Pilates).

Get yourself going, but don't make yourself really uncomfortable about the food or the exercise. Your body will tell you when you've done enough, and you need to stop exercising for the day, or if you're really hungry, grab a snack.

dropping weight in somebody so youthful isn't at once forward and could require clinical/dietetic supervision. Even in adults the final weight-loss is barely 9-15lbs a 365 days, so that is a protracted term life type difficulty, requiring the two an suitable weight loss plan and extremely usual finished of life exercising.

well if youre gonna be lazy then maybe your not very determined to lose weight. I know it gets really hard to stay motivated, but trust me you dont want to your 20s and discover that you have tons of medical complications with your body. start right now!!! think of your goals and what you want to achieve, and dont let food and obesity get in your way. because if you keep going like you are, then you might not get to happily live them out. start by changing your diet and drinking at least 8 cups of water, and then begin with your excercise routine. go slow if you have to but please begin today. I started one week ago, its tough but its possible, good luck
