It says on the back of a carton of epsom salt that if you mix 2 cups of epsom salt with a gallon of water it'll deep clean your pores. Do you have to soak in it or can you just scrub it on?

better soak for a while then scrub, so that the solid salt wont hurt your skin too much

Well, it is usually used for soaking your body. But it probably wouldn't hurt to do a little of both.
