Ok, I just started a computer job and now my right hand tingles and shakes sometimes. Its like I've lost control of the muscles. It doesn't hurt and it doesn't necessarily stop me from doing my job but I was curious as to what the medical community thinks of this or if it's something that some hand strengthening exersizes will fix. I love my job and don't want to give it up, but if this is something that will only get worse, like carparal tunnels (spelling?) then I would also like to know how to fix it. Thank you to any and all answers, all information is appreciated.

this is a nerve problem. Usually when you feel tingling, it means that that nerve is in trouble. Hand tremors can be a symptom of many different nerve problems. Does your hand tremble when at rest, or when you're doing something? If at rest, does it go away when you're trying to do something? (last one is a symptom of Parkinson's). B12 deficiency will result in tremors. A bunch of other nerve problems will also do this. Have your doctor do a work up on you to figure out exactly what it is and if it can be treated because if it can, the sooner you start, the better.

Do you have diabetes? It's odd that it's only your right hand, and not both.

It's a sign that carpal tunnels is knocking on your door. make sure you have proper support under your wrist--you want your wrist as level with your hand and arm as possible. You need to relax your arms, shake out your hands and wrists every few minutes, to make sure there's plenty of circulation. Above all, don't put your wrist on the desk while you move your mouse or type. That's what's going to cause the carpal tunnel. That and not moving your forearms and elbows.

The cure for carpal tunnel is surgery. I don't know that much about it so I'll let someone else tell you about it.
