I'm pretty sure this is a new cold, but the same underlying problem: bad sinuses. Plus, viruses are attracted to the handsome, so I'm very vulnerable! ;)

**Cut out dairy as much as possible. But yogurt is good - doesn't "really" count as dairy - it has the "good" bacteria.
**Cut out sugar as much as possible. This means fruit juices too.
**Keep drinking fluids - but no need to overload. Just keep hydrated. Brothy soup is good for that and some nutrition.
**Eat tons of garlic!! I peel up a whole garlic, stick it in the microwave for about 10 sec to seal up the good stuff . . . then chop it up and heat it up with chicken noodle soup (at a slow simmer). Garlic - the natural antibiotic!
**Eat spicy foods . . . make use of that cayenne! Get some yummy Mexican, Thai, Chinese - whatever spicy dishes!
**Wash hands frequently especially at work when something's going around. Avoid using anti-bacterial soap.
**If anything, get lots of rest - and good ol' sleep.

I don't think he ever fully recovered from the first cold. Red tea with fresh lemon has always done it for me, but nothing has worked this time. I finally broke down and went to a doctor, as he should do. He is not himself, and if he doesn't take care of himself and starts to lose fans......I can't bear to think about it. I love him like a son!

mmmmmm...... zinc lozenges are great. Hot baths. A warm wash cloth over the sinus area. Don't do a lot of ibuprofen as it causes rebound swelling. Water, water and more water.

Airborne, you can find it at any drug store, and it works well with tylenol. and decongestants,
He need to take the whole tube as prescribed on the box, it help to build your immune system.
while a couple of doses will work at the beginning or onset of the cold or flu, you need to take a full compliment when you are already sick.
